Inspired to Wong Kar-wai’s 2046 movie, where a train in a futuristic landscape takes passengers to a place where they can recapture their memories, the Gemma Earrings are the on/off button on that train. They are the premise of a novel waiting to be written, about reality blending with fiction, and the past commingling with the future.
These earrings trace the lines of wraparound geometries, a tangle of light dots going on and off to design new scenarios.
